One of the oft-overlooked applications of design are those that go into books. How dare we, I say. A successful design is typically unobtrusive and with books being the the primary vessel of knowledge, design does play a key role on how information could be imparted.
Such is Sarah and Schooling‘s passion for bound leaves that most of their design specialty revolves around it – although their artistry, while attributed to, isn’t limited to books per se. As seen in their exhibitions, they have deconstructed the idea of the book that have served as a jump-off point for very interesting concepts.
