As far as I am concerned, the region can put its Off-White and Vetements obsessions to rest. Singapore is alright, thanks to Wai Yang, an emerging fashion talent straight out of Lion City — all your normcore-slash-avant-garde wants are covered (yeah, god forbid, right?)
Each ensemble from Wai Yang’s AW 18 Lookbook, Not My Problem, is just top notch: both carefully made and recklessly put together. Colors and choice of material show wild abandon that makes the entire line exciting, current, like a reimagining of basics, which means everything is wearable — to a certain extent.
